At Breshears Professional Photography, we are passionate about capturing the essence of families and creating unforgettable experiences. With over 23 years of experience, we have established ourselves as the leading photography studio in South Eastern Washington. Our journey began when Rich, our founder, decided to leave his career in social work and elder care facilities to pursue his passion for photography. With Mary Ann by his side, we opened our first studio in 2000, eventually growing into the renowned studio we are today.

Our Story

Rich and Mary Ann met while studying at the University of Idaho, where Rich was a music major and Mary Ann was studying Family and Consumer Science. Despite being polar opposites, they fell deeply in love and have enjoyed an amazing 34 years together, raising five kids and welcoming 11 grandchildren. Our love for photography began early, with Mary Ann completing her Girl Scout merit badges in photography and Rich collecting cameras. Over the years, our hobbies collided to create a profession. We began taking senior portraits and soon expanded to wedding photography. In 2000, we officially opened Breshears Professional Photography, with a passion to serve families and create lasting memories.

Our Team

We comprise a talented team of photographers, retouchers, and customer service representatives. Our photographers, including Kirsten and Mary, are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Kirsten, a Brigham Young University-Idaho graduate with a B.S. in Photography, joined us in 2019 and has become one of our lead photographers and artists. Mary, with her background in customer service, has brought her expertise to our phone team and customer service department.

We have extensive training and certifications, including Rich's Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, Certified Professional Photographer, and Fellow of Photography. Mary Ann is a Photographic Craftsman and Associate Fellow of Photography. We are active members of Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers of Washington.
