Humphrey Photography opened its doors in 1976 as the second studio location for Kenneth Humphrey. We purchased the business from Kenneth Humphreys father in 1983 at the original St. Louis Street studio. In 1998 we constructed our current facility at 925 N. Mill Street in Nashville, IL. Our lead photographer, Steve, brings 34 years of handson photography experience to every session. Steve apprenticed under his father, mastering wedding, senior portrait, family, children, commercial and school photography. We maintain our expertise by attending continuing education several times each year and teaching Illinois workshops. Steves darkroom training includes custom printing techniques that we still apply to digital workflows. We operate as a fullservice digital studio offering color, blackandwhite, colortone, custom watercolor and image restoration using the latest products.
Pat enhances every client experience through personalized customer service, sales consultations and custom matting and framing design. Our work has earned Steve Top Ten Photographer honors, Judges Choice Awards and placement in the Illinois Loan Collection. Steves images appear in the Professional Photographers of America Showcase books and the esteemed Traveling Loan Collection, and he received the Bronze Photographer of the Year Award in January 2006 while holding the Master Craftsman degree from PP of A.
