Our History

Bruce Rohr, the founder of Bruce Rohr Photography, took an unconventional path to becoming a commercial photographer. After graduating from college, he initially pursued a career as a high school teacher but later decided to explore his passion for photography. He studied photography at Northern Illinois University under the guidance of Larry Gregory and Doug Stewart.

After completing his studies, Bruce began freelancing commercial photography assignments and substitute teaching on days without assignments. Over time, his photography career took off, and he was able to focus on commercial photography full-time. In 1994, he built his current studio, which has since become a premier destination for clients seeking high-quality commercial photography services.

Throughout his career, Bruce has maintained a commitment to excellence, always striving to capture the perfect photograph. While he acknowledges that achieving perfection may be an unattainable goal, he believes that the pursuit of it is what truly matters. This philosophy has guided his approach to every assignment and has contributed to his success as a commercial photographer.

Our Studio

Our studio is designed to accommodate a wide range of photography needs. With 3,000 square feet of shooting area, reinforced concrete floors, and an overhead door, we can handle large-scale projects involving heavy equipment or commercial vehicles. We also have the capability to set up multiple sets within the studio, allowing us to efficiently complete complex shoots.

We also offer a comfortable lounge area for clients to relax and review images during shoots.
