As photographers with a passion for storytelling, Meggan and Jeff Haller, the founders of Keyhole Photo, have spent over 15 years honing their craft, working as staff photographers for daily newspapers. With a combined expertise in photojournalism, they have covered a wide range of stories, from professional sports to presidential visits to everyday life, all through the lens of their camera.

Our Journey

Meggan studied photojournalism at the University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English. Jeff, on the other hand, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism and later earned a Master of Arts degree in Photography from Ohio University's renowned School of Visual Communication.

Experience and Expertise

The duo's extensive experience as professional photographers has equipped them with a unique set of skills, allowing them to tackle any project or assignment with confidence. With stints at prominent news organizations such as the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Yakima Herald-Republic, and the Longmont Daily Times-Call, they have honed their ability to tell compelling stories through their photographs.

Our Projects

Beyond their work as photojournalists, Meggan and Jeff have also embarked on creative projects that showcase their passion for storytelling. In 2007, Jeff launched a solo exhibition, "Somewhere in the Middle of America: Life in a Prairie Town, " which captured the essence of everyday life in a small town in rural Nebraska.
