Our Story

As a professional photographer, Kim Truelove has a deep love for capturing life's most important moments. With a passion for travel, a penchant for Chai Tea Lattes, and a commitment to her community, Kim brings her unique perspective and personal style to every photo shoot. As a proud Knight (GO UCF!), Kim is a devoted mother to three amazing daughters, Bella, Anna, and Clara, and she cherishes every moment she spends with her family and friends.

Our Services

At Kim Truelove Photography, we offer a wide range of photography services designed to capture your special moments and turn them into lasting memories. Our lifestyle sessions are a great opportunity to capture your family in their true form as they interact. We come to your home or a favorite place to help you photograph the joy of bringing a new baby home, playing at the park, or enjoying a favorite activity. All sessions are approximately one hour but can be up to two hours depending on what is happening. Our goal is to capture the real connections and love for your family at this special stage of life.

Our event photography services include wedding photography, baby showers, and other special events. We understand the importance of these events and we are dedicated to capturing every detail and moment to ensure that you have beautiful memories to cherish for years to come.

What to Expect

Once you have decided to book your session, several things will happen. We will send you a new client questionnaire in order to get some additional detailed information about you and your custom session. We will decide on your location and time and add it to the calendar. At least one week prior to your scheduled session, we will have a 10-minute phone consultation to work out any last-minute details. If you have any special requests, this would be the perfect time to make them. Also, remember to wear clothing in which you are comfortable; if you are uncomfortable, that will show in the photographs.

At your session, all sessions are approximately 60 minutes long with the exception of newborn which last anywhere from 2-4 hours. At the beginning of your session, we like to spend a couple of minutes meeting those who will be photographed. Once we have all become acquainted, we will get started. We do request that if anyone else is present, they do not follow us and/or take their own personal images. In order to do the best job we can for you, we need to have space and your undivided attention.

After your session, we will return home and upload/backup all of the images from your event. While we may have taken several of each shot, we will only choose the best to be shown. This means any images that are unusable due to blinks, hair in the face, blur due to movement, etc. will not be shown. We will spend time reviewing your images carefully, hand selecting only the BEST for you. You can expect to see a sneak preview on Facebook and/or the Blog within 24-72 hours of your event. All session galleries will be available to view in 2 weeks. You will receive your final images, print release, and print and frame ordering information by email after the gallery has been posted. (Unless purchased with booking, all images and prints are an additional charge).
