I've had my headshot done many times in NYC and LA, and I have to say: my experience with Monique was my favorite photoshoot yet.
I'm amazed that both sides of her brain are equally strong; she is equally impressive as an artist and as a technician. This enviable balance was apparent throughout the process: she was simultaneously efficient and (when I needed it) indulgent, friendly and professional, playful and practical, prepared and improvisational.
And, since she's also running her own business, it's worth mentioning: she's also organized, communicative, and meticulous.
Needless to say, the whole experience was simple, easy, and rewarding.
I can't say enough good things about Monique. She's a bargain at any price yet her prices are also the best I've seen, anywhere. You can't go wrong with her. Trust me.

I had the most beautiful maternity shoot experience with Monique. Her studio is a dream for any expecting mama. Its cozy, peaceful, and fully equipped with the most stunning wardrobe options. We did a few different planned looks and it was so exciting to watch Monique work her magic, changing sets and fully stepping into her creative element for each one. She has such a soft, calming, and engaging presence which is exactly the kind of energy you want to be surrounded by during a special moment like this. Monique is the best! Ive worked with her twice now for boudoir photoshoots and she makes it a whole experience. Theres plenty of wardrobe to choose from, the studio is super nice and she makes you feel so comfortable. Her guidance with posing and having her hype you up during the shoot helps you feel so confident in your own skin. The photos have always turned out great, even before any editing. If I could give Monique 10 stars I would. Monique is a master of her craft and I feel lucky she and her family have found their home in beautiful North County San Diego considering her talent puts her on par or better than talented photographers I have worked with in New York and Los Angeles. Not only does she provide a warm and professional environment but she also shows a clear dedication to her clients. Her systematic and detailed process reminds me that she is trained in tech but found her calling with photography as art. The perfect combination! Blown away by the experience with Monique and her wonderful studio and team.

Monique made my boudoir mini shoot experience really exceptional. The attention to detail and posing and the fabulous make up artist that helped get me glammed up were such a treat. I really enjoyed the experience overall and would absolutely encourage anyone on the fence about doing a shoot to sign up! Loved the option for the mini shoot as it gave good flexibility within a budget and gave lots of options for purchasing your favorite prints!

I decided to use Monique to shoot our annual family Christmas photo. I was blown away by her patience with my kids, and her determination to capture the perfect shot. I sent out our Christmas cards and my family and friends were so blown away by the photos as well as the dresses that Monique provided. I could definitely see myself returning to Monique for burlesque photos, or artistic portraits- she knows just how to capture the female energy.

Monique is amazing across the board! I had my maternity photos done and she made my husband and I so comfortable and the shoot was so fun. The whole process was enjoyable and flawless! Her hair and makeup stylist was also fantastic. Monique creates a truly tailored experience and makes you feel so confident and beautiful. And must mention.. she is a true artist!!!!
