I am Michele, a local photographer based in Breckenridge, Colorado. With over 14 years of living in Colorado, I have had the privilege of calling this beautiful state my home. Previously born and raised in Maryland, I have also spent time in Florida and California, and have always had a passion for adventure and exploration.

As a photographer, I specialize in capturing life's precious moments for families, kids, and couples. With a background in engineering, I may not have followed a traditional path, but the experience has given me a unique perspective and attention to detail. As a photographer, I thrive on capturing genuine moments, candid interactions, and authentic expressions of love and joy.

Our Photography Services

At Michele Schanker Photography, we offer a range of photography services tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Whether you're looking for a family portrait session, a couples' photo shoot, or a special occasion like a proposal or wedding, we are here to capture life's precious moments.

• Family Sessions: We offer both short (30-minute) and long (60-minute) family sessions, allowing you to choose the perfect amount of time for your family. Our sessions take place in various locations around the Summit County area, including Breckenridge and Blue River.
• Short Sessions: Perfect for busy families, our short sessions are designed for individual families and provide a more relaxed, hassle-free experience. Cost ranges from $260 to $575, depending on the package and number of digital images.
• Long Sessions: Our long sessions are designed for families who want a more in-depth and extensive photo shoot. Cost ranges from $435 to $1100, depending on the package and number of digital images.

Special Sessions

In addition to our regular family sessions, we offer special sessions tailored to your unique needs and interests. These include:

• Winter Hot Cocoa Sessions: Join us for a fun and cozy winter session, complete with hot cocoa and marshmallows. Cost is $199, and includes 5 digital images.
• Summer Hiking Sessions: Explore the great outdoors with our summer hiking sessions, designed for families who enjoy hiking. Cost starts at $650, depending on the package and location.
• On-Slope Skiing Sessions: Hit the slopes with our new on-slope skiing sessions, available this winter. Cost is $1100, and includes all proofs.

Proposals and Events

In addition to our regular photography services, we also offer special events and services, including:

• Proposals: Whether you're planning a romantic hide-and-seek proposal or a scenic hike proposal, we're here to capture the magic. Cost varies depending on the location and package.
• Weddings and Engagements: While we focus primarily on family and kids' photography, we do offer services for micro weddings, elopements, and engagements. Please inquire for pricing information.
