Vermont Professional Photographers

The Vermont Professional Photographers (VPP) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the art of photography and providing a platform for photographers to share their expertise and experiences. Founded in 1929, VPP is the local Vermont branch of the national organization, Professional Photographers of America.

Our Mission

The mission of the Vermont Professional Photographers is to promote the art of photography, educate and enrich our members on current practices in the field of professional photography, and serve the public with our high-quality images and professional and ethical business practices. We strive to create a supportive community where photographers can learn, grow, and network with each other.

Services

We offer a range of services to our membership, including:

• Monthly Meetings: Our bi-monthly meetings feature guest speakers from around New England and the world, providing our members with the opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with other photographers.
• Annual Convention: Our annual convention is a premier event where photographers can learn from world-renowned speakers, participate in workshops, and compete in our prestigious print competition.
• Online Directory: Our online directory allows members to find a professional photographer in their area and ensures that they are a member of a professional organization and adhere to professional practices and conduct.
• Scholarships: We offer scholarships to students pursuing a degree in photography or a related field.
• Print Competition: We host an annual print competition where members can showcase their work and compete for awards.
