Art & Clarity

Art & Clarity is a fine photography and video production company founded on the partnership of Janna Waldinger and Lowell Downey, who have collaborated for three decades to deliver technical excellence infused with dramatic light and emotional impact. Our work spans four continents and diverse industries, including corporate branding, wedding photography, architectural imagery, and documentary projects for global leaders. We prioritize listening to clients' visions, conceptualizing custom solutions, and creating images that reflect more than what meets the eye. With expertise in editorial, product, and event photography, we serve clients from the west coast to the east coast and beyond. Our team combines formal training, decades of experience, and a passion for teaching through photography adventures that empower individuals and businesses.

We are committed to meeting deadlines, adapting to client needs, and producing work that drives communication success. Our portfolio includes published portraits of notable figures, museum exhibitions, and collaborations with organizations like AltaMed and Lisa Nichols Motivating the Masses. We specialize in capturing moments that transcend the ordinary, whether for personal milestones, corporate branding, or artistic expression. Our dedication to quality is reflected in our technical precision, creative storytelling, and ability to make clients feel at ease during sessions. From Napa Valley to international destinations, we bring the spirit of opening night to every project.
