HippieBoy Design is a Sioux City-based design and printing company with a history steeped in creativity and a passion for helping businesses and individuals bring their visions to life. Founded in 2006 by Chris Radloff, the company has established itself as a trusted partner for a wide range of clients, offering a comprehensive suite of services from graphic design and web design to printing and photography.

A Journey Rooted in Experience

Chris's journey in the design world began in the late 1980s while he was a college student. Back then, "cut and paste" meant wielding scissors and glue, and the coolest music came on cassette tapes. Years spent honing his skills at a local newspaper and a renowned print shop laid the foundation for HippieBoy Design.

He graduated with a History degree, an unexpected detour for a burgeoning artist. Working as a typesetter and designer at a newspaper in Iowa, Chris found himself immersed in the world of visuals. His talent soon landed him a position in Sioux City as Art Director at a bustling print shop, further solidifying his expertise in print design and production.

From Part-Time Passion to Full-Time Success

HippieBoy Design began as a part-time venture in 2006, fueled by Chris's desire to pursue his passion for design on his own terms. By 2008, the company's success propelled Chris to take the leap and become a full-time entrepreneur.

A Legacy Beyond Design

Chris is deeply involved in the community, serving as an active member of the American Legion Riders, Patriot Guard Riders, Independent Riders for Children and Charities, and Leadership Siouxland. His commitment extends to the annual Siouxland Sleepout, an event aimed at raising awareness about homelessness.

Outside of work, Chris's love for music shines through as he jams on his bass guitar, revisiting the golden era of rock and blues.

Joining Forces with Dagmar

In 2010, Chris partnered with Dagmar Kopacs-Radloff, bringing her international business acumen and knack for customer relations to HippieBoy Design. Born in Vienna and raised in Innsbruck, Austria, Dagmar's journey to Sioux City involved a life-changing decision to move to the United States as a teenager. Her varied educational background, including a degree in International Business, has provided her with a unique perspective and a valuable skillset. Dagmar's keen eye for detail extends beyond business, and she adds another layer of talent to the team as a photographer.
