Altenburg Studio is a renowned photography studio based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a rich history dating back to 1972. Founded by Sue Altenburg, a PPA Certified Master Photographer, the studio has been a family-run business for over 75 years. With a strong commitment to excellence, Sue's passion for photography was ignited by her mother, Kay Altenburg, who started the studio in a small town in Illinois.

Growing up, Sue was fascinated by the art of photography and spent countless hours in the darkroom beside her mother, watching the magic unfold as prints emerged. With a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Portraiture from Brooks Institute of Photography, Sue's dedication to her craft earned her several national and international awards. Her expertise has taken her on lecture tours in Japan and the UK, and she is a respected speaker and print judge for the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers Convention in London.

Our studio is built on the idea of providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere, reminiscent of Sue's childhood home studio. Located in a central location, less than two miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, the studio is easily accessible. The studio features a portrait garden tucked away in the back, with blooming flowers throughout the year, as well as unique outdoor sets and interior backgrounds.

Our Services

At Altenburg Studio, we offer a wide range of services catering to both personal and business needs. Our portrait policies are designed to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. We do not charge any session fees, but we do require a minimum portrait purchase for studio or on-location sessions. Our prices are competitive, and we strive to provide exceptional quality and service.

We cater to individual clients, offering family, portrait, and boudoir photography services, as well as business and event photography. Our business headshot package starts at $99, suitable for business cards, websites, or advertising. For on-location corporate events or conventions, we offer customized packages based on time and services required.

Our Commitment to Quality

We understand the importance of maintaining the highest standard of quality in our photographs. To ensure this, we do not sell high-resolution digital files for outside printing. Instead, we provide low-resolution digital files suitable for social media sharing, complete with our studio logo. This helps protect our images from being misused or stolen online.
